Joy is a choice to believe what God said. The Bible tells us many amazing and life saving things that God already said, and if we really believe them we will not be sad or down, but rather joyful and expectant that things will get better!
Joy is an indication that we believe! There is no such thing as sad faith. Faith laughs at impossibilities because faith and joy are more an act of our will than how we feel. Don’t wait for things to get better. MAKE them get better!
Proverbs 17:22
A happy heart MAKES a healthy body!
People need to start being joyful because they BELIEVE what God has said and quit waiting for their circumstances to change. God said their circumstances would change when they choose to have a happy heart! Joy is a producer! Joy is not just an emotion responding to good things happening. Joy MAKES good things happen! No wonder the devil tries so hard to mess with people’s joy. He knows the power of joy and he does his best to make people sad and depressed.
I encourage you to BE a person of joy starting today! You can BE what ever you want to be! CHOOSE to have a merry heart because you believe God did not lie when He said He would supply ALL your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus? Philippians 4:19
